Veronica Jamison is a fashion illustrator specializing in live event sketching.

Veronica Jamison is a fashion illustrator and educator with more than a decade of experience. She specializes in live event illustration, where she creates custom fashion portraits of guests to take home as special mementos. Veronica works primarily in watercolor, marker and ink to create stylized illustrations for events.

Veronica’s illustration clients include Netflix House, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Marie Claire, TJ Maxx, Essence magazine, Hallmark, Shea Moisture, and Cosmopolitan magazine. She has been live illustrating events since 2012. See Veronica’s portfolio of work here.

Veronica is trained as a fashion designer and has worked as a print designer for Lilly Pulitzer, and as a sportswear designer for Destination Maternity. She earned her Masters of Science in Fashion Design from Drexel University, and has taught fashion courses at Drexel and University of the Arts. She is the fashion illustration instructor at Made Institute in Philadelphia.

Veronica is a member of Art Brand Alliance, a global community of entrepreneurial visual artists, and a past board member of ICON: The Illustration Conference. She is also a proud alumna of Howard University. Veronica is based near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and lives with her husband their dapper grey cat, Winston.

Watercolor is my favorite medium, but I love experimenting with supplies.

I learned to draw in part by watching videos about illustrating comics as a kid.

My favorite toy as a little artist: Fashion Plates!

Art is my second career. I used to work as a producer in public radio.

Art is my business, and dance is my hobby. I regularly take adult ballet and jazz classes.
